Put
on your walking shoes and grab your leash because the 19th annual
Walk/Run for the Animals is coming up on Saturday, May 1, 2010! Join us
for another fun-filled morning and help us raise funds to help support
homeless and abused animal in our community. Participate in the 5K fun
run or leash up for the 1.5 or 3 mile walk. Then, you and fido can
enjoy over 25 local vendors in the park. This year's activities include
a Humane Society Kid's Corner, pet microchip clinic, music by local
artists, dog agility demonstrations and much more! All proceeds go
towards helping the animals at the Humane Society for Southwest
Washington.

| Registration Information |
| Registration for the 2010 Walk/Run for the animals is $25.00 and includes and event t-shirt.* |
| * To be guaranteed an event t-shirt, you must pre-register online by April 15, 2010 |

| Visit our online registration page to pre-register for the event, pick your t-shirt size* and create a personal fundraising page. The process is quick and easy and makes raising money to help support the animals a breeze! Print out your online report before the event and bring any cash/checks to the Registration Tent starting at 7:30am the morning of the event. |

| Aren't that technically savvy? Don't worry, you can register and collect donations the old fashion way too! Use the donation form on the back of the 2010 Walk/Run Brochure (click here to download) to keep track of your donations. Then, turn in your collection sheet(s) and cash/checks at the Registration Tent starting at 7:30am the morning of the event. |

| Bring it on! If you have a group of people that want to participate together, you can register your group as a Pack. Download the PACK-et for more details on how to get your group started. |

| If you can't make it to the event on May 1st but still want to raise funds to help support the animals - no problem! You can always use to the donation form on the back of the 2010 Walk/Run Brochure (click here to download ) to keep track of your donations. Then, simply mail your collection form and donations to the Humane Society for Southwest Washington at 1100 NE 192nd Avenue, Vancouver, WA 98684. |

Your $25.00 registration fee pays to vaccinate 2 animals and earns you t-shirt!

| Collect $100 and help spay/neuter one dog. You earn a Humane Society water bottle and above. |
| Collect $250 and help feed over 30 kittens. You earn a Humane Society grocery tote and above. |
| Collect $500 and help pay for a vet tech. You earn a Humane Society fleece blanket and above. |
| Collect $1000 and help spay/neuter 20 cats. You earn a Humane Society logo jacket and above. |
| Collect $2500 and help fund the teen volunteers. You earn a Kodak 10.2 MP camera and above. |
| Collect $5000 and help fund Critter Camp. You earn a Flip monoHD camcorder bottle and above. |

| Start with family and friends. |
| Make it personal – share with people why you love animals and want to help. |

| Get your co-workers/peers involved – challenge a rival department/home to raise the most. |
| Ask your boss to donate instead of giving you a holiday or birthday gift. |
| Follow-up! People are busy so make donating easy for them. |
| Host a fundraising party – instead of selling Tupperware, raise money for the animals. |

| Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. |

| Dogs who attend should be at least 6 months of age with current vaccinations. |
| Before participating, please be sure both you and your pet are in proper physical condition. |
| Dogs must be on a leash at all times. |
| Please be a responsible pet owner and pick up after your pet! |
| Female dogs in heat, are not permitted. |
| Event officials reserve the right to refuse entry or registration to any dog who's health or temperament could pose a danger to participants or participant's pets. |
