Protect your bully. Keep them healthy. Keep them safe.

Bully Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Incentive Program (BLCSnip)

The Humane Society for Southwest Washington and Pacific Northwest Pit Bull Rescue have teamed up to help combat the overpopulation of Bully Breeds in Clark and Skamania counties in Washington State. With the support of the Animal Farm Foundation, low-cost spay and neuter options are now available for those who qualify. Program only applies to Bully Breeds which include: American Pit Bull Terriers,American Staffordshire Terriers and Staffordshire Bull Terriers.

Why Spay or Neuter your Bully?

 Help control the pet population.
Thousands of dogs die every day in shelters because there simply are not enough homes for them. Pet overpopulation is not unique to bully breeds and is a common issue across the nation. By spaying or neutering your bully, you set an example for responsible pet care in your community and help to keep dogs off the streets and out of shelters.

Keep them healthy. Keep them home.
Spaying or neutering your dog can decrease their chance of developing serious medical conditions later on in life. Sterilization also drastically decreases a dog’s desire to roam. This means a spayed or neutered bully is less likely to run away.
Do the math - Spaying and neutering saves money.
The one-time cost of spaying or neutering your dog is far less then the average cost of responsibly caring for a litter of puppies. The cost to get a county license is also significantly less for an altered animal.
