Spay and Neuter Programs

The Humane Society for Southwest Washington is offering free spay and neuter surgeries for cats in February 2009. Space is limited and surgeries are scheduled on a first-come-first-served basis. Some restrictions may apply. Please see qualification guidelines below.

*You MUST live in Clark or Skamania County.
*You MUST qualify as low-income as outlined below.
*This programs is for cats ONLY.
*There is a $10.00 co-pay due at the time of surgery which covers the cost of the mandatory microchipping service. Cash, Visa or Mastercard only.
*Cats MUST be in a carrier. If you do not have one, you may purchase a disposable carrier for $4.00 at the time of surgery.

To be considered low-income, your yearly income level must fall below the amount indicated per total number of people in your household.

| All cats will be microchipped at the time of surgery. Vaccinations, flea treatments, nail trims, ear mite treatments and FELV/FIV tests are available for an additional cost. |

| Feral cats are welcome! There is no limit to the number of cats you can bring but each cat requires a $10.00 co-pay. |
