Food and Supplies
If a cash donation doesn't work for you, gifts of food and supplies are a great way to make the holidays merry and bright for the animals. You can shop locally, supporting any number of pet stores in our community and drop off your donation, or purchase from our Amazon Wish List and have your donation shipped directly to HSSW. Gifts of Stock
A gift of stock could be right for you if you own publicly-traded securities that you have owned for at least one year. These securities may sometimes provide you with little or no income, but provide a great benefit to the animals of HSSW. Gifting stock avoids federal capital gains tax and most donors can also claim an income tax deduction for the stock's full market value.
HSSW Giving Trees
The tree in the HSSW lobby has more than just twinkling lights and sparkling ornaments. It also includes all things the animals need for the holidays. You'll find gift tags for the animals hanging from the tree with suggested donations - grab a tag off the tree and take it to an adoption counselor to make your donation.
