Supporting Pets and People

Community Solutions

We have a vision of a community where everyone loves and cares for animals. To achieve that vision, we must invest in upstream solutions that reach beyond the walls of the shelter to support pets and families throughout Southwest Washington. These services and programs provide critical support for pet owners, expand access to vital services, and help keep pets and people together.

Public Wellness Clinics

Our Wellness Clinics bring essential veterinary care directly to the pets of our unhoused neighbors — meeting them where they are, when they need it most. We host clinics at locations throughout the region, often alongside partner service organizations or aboard our Mini-Mobile Veterinary Clinic (Mini-MVC).

The Mini-MVC is a compact, purpose-built vehicle equipped to deliver vaccinations, wellness exams, preventative care, and treatment - all in one efficient visit. Small but mighty, it navigates the communities where our clients live and allows our team to provide the same high-quality care that every pet deserves, regardless of their owner's circumstances.

These partnerships are central to our mission. By working alongside trusted community organizations, we extend our reach further than we ever could alone, connecting with more pets, in more places, and making a deeper impact across our region.
