Howl-O-Ween Pet Food Drive
This October, we've partnered with Fred Meyer and QFC for their Howl-O-Ween Pet Food Drive! Throughout the month, you can donate new, unopened pet food, pet supplies, and toys to help stock the shelves for our CHOW Program. Through CHOW, we provide pet food assistance to local families and individuals who need a little extra help caring for their pets, helping keep beloved animals in their homes and out of the shelter. All donations collected stay right here in our community and directly support local pets in need.
How to Donate
Purchase new, unopened pet food, pet supplies, or toys at a participating store.
Drop your donation in the collection bin near the store entrance or customer service desk.
Every donation helps provide care, comfort, and nourishment for local pets in need.

Outreach Event Requests
Want to include HSSW in your upcoming event? Or are you wondering how your event can support our work with the animals? We love supporting our community and connecting with animal lovers.
Attending an event is a lot of fun for our staff and volunteers, but it's often stressful for animals. We cannot bring adoptable pets to community events.
If you're hosting a fundraiser to benefit the animals, let us know! Even if we can't be there with you, we'd love to know about your event so we can say thanks and we may be able to help spread the word on social media or list your event on this page.
Are you interested in learning more about HSSW and opportunities to support our work? Let us know! We do our best to be at events in person, but if our busy calendars prevent us from being there, we'll do our best to share information and resources to support your event.
