Vehicle Donations
When you donate your car, truck, or other vehicle to HSSW you are making a lifesaving difference for animals in our community. Your donation helps us provide food, shelter, medical care, and more to thousands of animals each year. Plus, you may qualify for additional tax savings.
The Donation Process
Donating your vehicle is a simple and easy process. And you'll feel good knowing your donation helps animals right here in our community.
To get started donating your vehicle:
Step 1: Complete our Vehicle Donation Form and we'll be in touch.
Step 2: Our towing partner will contact you to arrange a pickup and assist with the paperwork.
Step 3: Your vehicle will be sold at auction and the proceeds will benefit HSSW.
We accept cars, trucks, and other vehicles regardless of their running condition. A valid title is required to donate your vehicle. If you don’t have one, you can learn how to obtain a Quick Title from your DMV, or learn more at the links below. After the sale of your vehicle is complete, you will receive a donation receipt for your records and you may qualify for additional tax savings.
How to Acquire a Title
Titles are required for us to accept your donation. Don't have one? Don't worry! Learn more about where you can get a title in our area.
Quick Titles are certificate of ownership for vehicles or boats that you can get quicker than a standard title. Quick Titles are not available for snowmobiles, vehicles or boats reported as stolen, insurance or wrecker destroyed vehicles and boats, or vehicles with a "WA rebuilt" brand on the title.
