What an incredible first week at our brand-new Community Veterinary Clinic! We were thrilled to be joined last Friday and Saturday by our community of donors, supporters, and animal lovers as we opened this vital new resource for our community.

The opening of our Community Veterinary Clinic expands our community medicine program, providing much-needed opportunities for wellness care, vaccinations, and spay/neuter. In addition to our new clinic, our Mobile Veterinary Clinic operates four days a week in locations throughout Southwest Washington, making care more accessible than ever by reaching people and pets where they live.

Our community medicine program is already making a difference. Every day, our team provides care for pets of income-qualified families, offering the medical care they want and need for their pets.

In just the first two weeks of September, we have supported pets with:

• 182 canine spay/neuter surgeries
• 296 feline spay/neuter surgeries
• 225 pet wellness appointments

We served 703 animals in two weeks, and this is just the beginning.

As we continue to expand our capacity to deliver this lifesaving care, we will broaden our offerings to ensure we can reach the pets who need it most.

This work is possible thanks to our hardworking staff and volunteers and the generous support of our donors. With your support, we will continue to invest in community medicine solutions that make a difference for pet owners and help keep pets happy, healthy, and at home.

Early giving for Give More 24! is officially underway, and right now your gift goes twice as far for animals in need. Every dollar up to $10,500, that is donated now through September 25 will be matched, doubling your impact to help provide food, shelter, and vaccines for the more than 10,000 animals who rely on HSSW each year.
