End of Life Services

Because we advocate for the humane treatment of animals, we believe it's important to recognize when a pet’s health is beyond rehabilitation. Our staff is here to provide compassion and support when making this difficult decision. 

End of life services are temporarily unavailable. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Fees & Qualifying Families

Euthanasia fees vary based on the type and size of animal. HSSW also offers cremation options. To learn more, please review our End of Life Services information sheet. Fees will be confirmed with families prior to service.

This service is for families who meet one of the following qualifications. 

Government Assistance: Families who qualify are those receiving some form of government assistance. Examples include: Public Housing, TANF, AFDC, SSI, Food Stamps (SNAP), WIC, Free or Reduced Lunch Program, Medicaid, Section 8 Housing, Apple Health, PAW Team, EBT. 

Low-Income Household: Families qualifying for low-income status must meet the income levels below:
