In 2023, HSSW served more than 10,000 animals Southwest Washington - more than ever in our 120+ year history! That work is possible thanks to the generous support of our community. When you host a fundraiser for the animals, you help us:

• Offer shelter and care to thousands of pets who are lost, stray, or seeking a happy home
• Find loving homes for thousands of pets 
• Provide medical care to pets including basic preventative care and surgeries for pets who are injured or need special care
• Spay and neuter community pets, reducing the number of unwanted litters of puppies and kittens in our community
• Deliver programs and services like free pet food, emergency boarding, Wellness Clinics, and more programs that keep pets and people together
