CHOW provides temporary assistance with pet food for families in need. This program is driven entirely by donations from our community and is available to any family or individual in need of pet food assistance. And for many of families in our community, a little help with pet food makes the difference between staying together or giving up their pet.

CHOW Locations

Adoption Center/Shelter | 1100 NE 192nd Ave: Please arrive at the Animal Admissions door (on the south side of the building) during regular business hours. 

ReTails Thrift Store | 5000 E Fourth Plain Blvd: Pet food is available at the checkout counter at ReTails during regular business hours.

Local Food Banks and Food Pantries: HSSW partners with our local food banks and pantries to provide pet food for distribution to their clients. Available supply cannot be guaranteed by HSSW. Please inquire directly with your local food pantry.

Donate

You can support this critical community program with bags of dry dog and cat food. You can purchase items and have them sent directly to the shelter by shopping our online wish list.

You can also donate food in person - donations can be dropped off at HSSW or ReTails during regular business hours. Bags must be unopened, and should be within one month of use-by dates on the package.
